This workshop will provide ethical and legal updates to child abuse reporting law in CA (to encourage participants to check on state updates where they are at) and will focus on exploring not just the types of child sexual abuse but how it can present itself. The workshop will also be covering grooming tactics, descriptions of the possible abusers, grooming types and how to prevent it in the community. Last, this workshop aims to decrease the guilt and shame that children can feel in those situations and how to help parents and caregivers to talk about it.  Cases will be illustrated and explored as well.
