The Office of Continuing Education at The Chicago School Staff
Dina Glaser, Psy.D., Senior Director, Office of Placement and Training
Dina Glaser, Psy.D. is the Senior Director of the Office of Placement and Training which also houses the Office of Continuing Education at The Chicago School. Dr. Glaser is an alumnus of The Chicago School’s Clinical Psy.D. program. She began her career in University Counseling Centers, and she completed her pre-doctoral internship at James Madison University’s Counseling and Student Development Center, her post-doctoral fellowship at The University of Michigan’s Counseling and Psychological Services, and her employment as a clinical psychologist at The University of Central Florida’s Counseling Center. She has spent several years providing individual and secondary supervision to pre-doctoral and practicum trainees. Dr. Glaser also has a strong interest in prevention and education and has assisted in the development and implementation of outreach on multiple university campuses. She oversees the Office of Placement and Training and is responsible for ensuring all continuing education programming follows the appropriate standards and criteria including the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Chris Whitt, Ed.D., RBLP-T, CSSBB, Director, Office of Continuing Education
Dr. Chris Whitt is the Director of the Office of Continuing Education at The Chicago School. She has over 20 years experience working in education and education leadership. In her roles, she has experience in building and maintaining community partnerships, instructional design, accreditation and compliance, employee coaching, instructional leadership, social emotional learning support, and program management. Additionally, Dr. Whitt has held the position as a board member and officer for multiple local and state level planning boards. She also provides support in executive coaching and HR, supports interns as a clinical coach, and is and Adjunct Professor. Dr. Whitt has a passion for continuing professional and team growth through targeted learning and positive climate building.
Dr. Whitt holds a Doctor of Education and an Education Specialist Degree in Education Leadership from Liberty University, a Master of Science in Instructional Systems and Bachelors of English Education from Florida State University. She’s also earned certifications in Online Instructional Design, K12 Administration, Secondary English, English as a Second Language, Reading Specialist, and Resilient-Based Leadership Professional Trainer. She is also a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
Lida Benson, Coordinator, Office of Continuing Education
Lida Benson is the Coordinator of the Office of Continuing Education at The Chicago School. Prior to coming to the OCE, she spent five years working with Washington, DC area medical schools (George Washington University, Georgetown University, the University of Maryland, and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences) as a Standardized Patient Instructor. Trained in clinical physical exam maneuvers and patient communication skills, she held weekly teaching responsibilities with students ranging from first to fourth years in the Clinical Psychology, Nursing, Medical, and Physician’s Assistant programs.
Lida is an alumna of the University of Vermont Honors College, and a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association.
Jhanavi Bharwani, Student Assistant
Jhanavi Bharwani is a doctoral student at The Chicago School, currently pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She is an alumna of Stony Brook University, where she earned her BS in Psychology. Jhanavi brings a wealth of experience in student leadership and administrative roles, having honed critical skills such as organization, communication, event coordination, and team collaboration. As a Student Assistant at the Office of Continuing Education, she has actively contributed to numerous conferences and informative sessions, fueling her passion for knowledge expansion, and fostering a thriving community of intellectual learners.
Maya Burnett, Student Assistant
Maya Burnett is a doctoral student at The Chicago School, pursuing her PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Prairie View A&M University and a master’s degree from Houston Baptist University. Maya has cultivated strong abilities in organization, communication, and collaboration, and as a Student Assistant at the Office of Continuing Education, she has contributed to organizing and executing conferences and educational sessions, bolstering her love of lifelong learning. She is thrilled to be a part of a vibrant community of engaged scholars.
Haeun Kim, Student Assistant
Haeun Kim is a master’s student at The Chicago School, studying Applied Behavior Analysis with the goal of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) prior to joining The Chicago School, working with children with Autism. As a Student Assistant, her aim is contribute her analytical and problem-solving skills to the work, and in return enhance her professional development and encourage her communication and organizational skills. She is very excited to collaborate with the Office of Continuing Education team and engage with various speakers and events to expand her knowledge and skills.
Office of CE Advisory Committee
The OCE Advisory Committee plans upcoming programs, reviews past events, and identifies qualified presenters. The committee is also responsible for assigning presenter honorarium fees and helping to create and review policies and procedures to strengthen Office of CE processes.
