These partnerships allow for academic progress and the cultivation of knowledge, global mindedness, and the acquisition of cultural competence and humility.
Due to the importance of international engagement, this webinar will provide an overview of an international partnership that was developed with community leaders, primary and secondary educators, and university faculty located in South Africa. Particularly, this webinar session will provide an overview of how these partnerships were developed and the activities that have been conducted in South African school settings. The facilitators will also share their personal experiences of completing international work, and how their international engagement activities have evolved throughout these partnerships.
