For MSCP students, the most difficult challenge to obtaining licensure as a prescribing psychologist is not the academic rigor of the Masters in Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP) degree, but rather, finding a suitable field experience meeting state licensure requirements. This symposium presents an overview of expectations, guidelines, process of applying for clinical psychopharmacology rotations, and required paperwork to provide essential documentation. This information is provided to help attendees develop a thorough understanding of the required practices and processes for a successful field placement experience leading to licensure as a prescribing psychologist.
When attended in full, this program offers 1.0 APA CEs for Psychologists.
