routine mental health care in Native American communities.
Too often, Native Americans are placed on a mental health medications by prescribers either who do not specialize in mental health, or are booked out many months, or are a long drive away. Prescribing psychologists can serve a role in addressing this, helping people feel less alone regarding their mental health medication.
