The State of Illinois is implementing gender-affirming care to transgender people who are incarcerated in the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are proud that our Governor is demonstrating the importance of this care to our transgender citizens by supporting the pioneering work of outstanding healthcare professionals, featured in our symposium.

- Describe the specific roles that clinical psychologists, prescribing psychologists, and psychiatrists play in providing optimal transgender healthcare to transgender folks who are incarcerated

Continuing Education
Target Audience: All psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health providers who have an interest in and/or who work with Corrections and/or populations with gender diversity. All professionals who are connected to The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. All members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Psychologists. This program, when attended in its entirety, is available for 2.0 continuing education credits. The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is committed to accessibility and non-discrimination in its continuing education activities.
