DBT Lite Training

DAY 1 (October 12th): 8am-3pm CT

DAY 2  (October 19th): 8am-3pm CT

This program is a 2-day comprehensive introduction to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy “Lite”.

The first day of training will focus on mindfulness and emotion regulation modules.

The second day of training will focus on interpersonal effectiveness and distress tolerance modules. Participants will walk through the entire DBT manual and will have hands-on experience with the content and exercises for each module.

This program, when attended in its entirety, offers 12.0 CEs for Psychologists, 12.0 IL CEUS for Counselors and Social Workers, 12.0 BBS California CEUs for LPCCs, LPSW, and LMFTs, 12.0 NASP CPDs for School Psychologists, or 12.0 ISBE CPDUs for Illinois Educators.

Optional Introduction- “DBT 101” (October 11th): 8am-11am CT or 12pm-3pm CT

The optional introduction session will consist of a “DBT ‘101’” session where information about what DBT is, the structure of the treatment, who Dr. Marsha Linehan is and how she created this theory, and what types of presentations and issues are treated with DBT will all be presented.

This program, when attended in its entirety, offers 3.0 CEs for Psychologists, 3.0 IL CEUS for Counselors and Social Workers, 3.0 BBS California CEUs for LPCCs, LPSW, and LMFTs, 3.0 NASP CPDs for School Psychologists, or 3.0 ISBE CPDUs for Illinois Educators.
