In order to assist the unique population that resides in Texas and the Southwest, the program will cover assessment, treatment planning for professionals, and different perspectives on assessments. The program’s goal is to teach educate clinicians on best practices.

The program will aim at educating clinicians on best practices. The program is important because assessing is critical not just for treatment planning but to keep the client engaged in the counseling process. The program is also important because the mental health profession is a data driven field and assessment is part of the data that is to be used for best practices in the wellness of the client.
