This program, when attended in its entirety, offers 1.0 Continuing Education credit for psychologists.

In this program, Drs. Erickson and Yip-Green will cover a variety of topics related to how COVID-19 has changed the landscape of education and clinical practice. Drs. Erickson and Yip-Green are full time university educators and clinical providers. They will be sharing on both the strengths and the challenges of navigating within the discipline of the psychological sciences during the pandemic.

Specifically, the presenters will highlight the necessity of cultural engagement and responsiveness throughout their work. Emphasizing competencies in cultural and practical considerations, the presenters will demonstrate applied research, educational, and clinical practices and interventions that have yielded successful results. In addition, the presenters will provide a forecast of the reality of the future of remote praxis and ways to continue to engage students, clients, and colleagues virtually.

Dr. Erickson is currently employed full time as a professor in the Master of Arts in Psychology program for the online campus at TCSPP. She is an alumna of the PhD in International Psychology program at TCSPP (2017) and provides dissertation support to current doctoral students from the International Psychology program with their international research projects. She is also a licensed clinician in three states (CO, FL, and IL).

Dr. Green works as an assistant professor at Loyola Marymount University, Marital and Family Therapy with specialization in art therapy program. She received her PhD in International Psychology from TCSPP and currently mentors doctoral students from the International Psychology program on international research projects.
