Workshop Description:

This program provides skills and tools to assist clinicians working with counseling clients to build, navigate, and maintain intimacy in romantic relationships. Utilizing modern research around love, attachment, and sexuality, participants will develop specific interventions for individuals to apply to their clinical practice.
The program discusses the diverse array of intimate relationships and how to build love, understanding, and trust in partnership. Participants will review and discuss different case studies, where the partnerships presented demonstrate modern, culturally diverse clients who are presenting with a sex-related (e.g., desire discrepancy) concerns . The group will disuss the intersectional factors that impact the case and the clinical skills utilized for each case.
